Description

Tinder Town was never much to look at.

Built along the frozen river as a small supply stop for those traveling deeper into the Shadowlands, its clustered wooden homes offered little more than warm beds, stocked storerooms, and fires against the bitter cold. For the people who lived there, however, it was home.

These maps show Tinder Town before and after that changes.

When the Butcher comes, the village is hopelessly unprepared for what follows. The Beastmen overwhelm its defenses, breaking through homes and workshops before setting the settlement ablaze. Fire races from one wooden building to another while the inhabitants flee, hide, or die among the ruins.

By the time the attack is over, Tinder Town is barely recognizable. Roofs have collapsed into blackened timbers, workshops have become heaps of ash, and fires continue to burn through buildings that only hours earlier held families, supplies, and everything the villagers had managed to build for themselves.

The river still runs through the center of town. The snow still falls.

Tinder Town is simply gone.

These are two versions of the same battlemap, one for the settlement before the attack and another for what remains after the Butcher has passed through.
