How many wagons roll over this bridge every week, just feet above the broken spears and bones that litter the river bed? Soldiers once sought glory on this ground, or perhaps, they merely struggled for survival. Now, their memory is all but lost. Grass has grown over the trampled ground. A few tattered banners whip in the breeze, their painted crests crumbled and faded away. They say the victors write the history, but today, no one who travels this road even remembers who won.
The **Forgotten Battlefield (25 x 25, 100dpi)** is littered with the remnants of a historic battle, all but entirely reclaimed by time and nature. Looking like a simple, well-traveled trail at a glance, a closer inspection reveals morbid reminders.
