Rainbow Shoals Keep

It is the Obsidian layers in the rock that this showpiece of whimsical architecture is carved into, tunneled through and built upon that gives the place its name. The light shining off the Obsidian glitters on the water like a myriad of rainbows, and after an extensive renovation by the present owner and some serious gardening projects, the once dingy keep is now quite deserving of its name.

Rainbow Shoals Keep is a hotel these days, and a very popular one too, so make sure to book early if you want a room, even earlier if you would prefer to stay in one of the little outcrop villas with private garden. There is plenty to see and do in the area, fishing of course, a swim in the sea or if you're not keen on meeting any sharks then a splash in the walled pool might be more your thing. There are day trips to Maximum Security and Chicken Coop Keep, and the Krakens Lair is rumored to be in these parts, that would be an exciting trip!

Enjoy balmy evenings on the Fireside Terrace after a gourmet dinner, then retire to a comfortable bed and dream of warm days, shimmering seas, sea monsters and rainbows ... you'll find dreams do come true at Rainbow Shoals Keep.

Breakfast will be served at 6.30am to 8.30am in the Indigo Lounge, Dinner will be served as the sun goes down on the Fireside Terrace, and all tour boats leave at 9.00am from the pier.
