Autumn tree leaves float through lazily through the air like the embers from the festival bonfire. The smells of roasting corn and grilled skewers fill the air, while beer and apple cider flow freely. A short walk or wagon ride from the edge of town, nestled between orchards and farms, is the Harvest Festival. On what was bare soil a mere week ago, tents are pitched, merchants have set up booths, contests like apple-bobbing and pie-eating have been arranged, and everyone eagerly welcomes the chill in the air. But be careful, venturing into the mysterious fortune teller's tent, or the "haunted tent of horrors"... Surely it's just pig's blood, right?
