I've been in the process of making a fun filled mini-campaign for my nephew, his girlfriend and other friends. I had an idea to do a carnival that has a mysterious twist. So I spent a good minute making these.
Also here is the Copy Pasta of the list of games, Do what you will with this :D
Carnival Games:
Strength Hammer:
A green gnome, with a red tuft of hair wearing brown and yellow attire, standing by one very large hammer and one smaller hammer. There are two different bells to be rang. The goblin doesn't work here and is robbing people out of their tickets with a wedge in the Tough hammer game. Actually ran by an orc named Zeno
D20+Str Modifier
Two Levels:
Tough: DC 22 \*5 tickets
Wittle bitty baby: DC 12 \*2 tickets\*
\*Nat 20 breaks the bell\*
Players gets 2 swings. Can only play twice per day.
Perception/Investigation Check of 20 lets the players see there is a wedge in the Tough hammer game. Confront the gnome, Zeno overhears the commotion and comes over. He was taking a taking a shit.
(The gnomes name is Garfunz, he can be found lingering around the food stalls later. Garfunz runs the secret brawlers ring. He will come up to the strongest person and give them the password.
Its "1, 2, 3, 4 ,5")

Bare Handed Fishing:
Ezzie(A women wood elf) and her Fernando(The biggest Grizzly Bear you'd ever seen) are setting up for bare handed fishing by the river. She explains that it is about time for Fernando to go into hibernation. He needs to fatten up.
You get 5 chances to catch 5 fish.
Acrobatics/Animal Handling DC 16
Each fish is worth one \*1 Prize Coins\*
Max: 5 Prize Coins
The Greased Pig:
Alfie, a goofy looking halfing points to the sign. "Gimmie a ticket and go grab my greasy hog" and then chuckles, "God damn that never gets old" and laughs again. "Aint nobody been able to handle that fat hog I tell ya. If you can get it my hog down, I got a speciaaaall surprise for y'alls"
Stealth Check(to try to sneak up on the pig), Atheletics Check(To get closer to the pig), Acrobatics/Animal Handling(To stay on your feet/Cuff the pig under the leg)
Stealth 16 (if failed, add +2 to Athletics DC)
Athletics 16 (18 if Stealth fails, +2 to Acrobatics/Animal Handling if failed)
Acrobatics/Animal Handling 16(18 if failed 1 of 2 checks, 20 if failed both)
\*\*If Acrobatics/Animal handling check fails. Pig gets away and the game is over.\*\*
If Acrobatics/Animal handling check passes, must pass a
Strength check against pig.
D20+Str modifier.
Pigs modifier is +1

Pin The Tail On The Donkey:
A rather strange looking donkey is roaming around a pen, tied to a post facing north. A very old Dwarf is sitting on a stool. He is hard of hearing. He puts out his hand and says "Ticket". And then he hands you a tail and an old snotty hankerchief attached to it. He yells "TWICE."
Perception 15 and Roll 1d6.
If perception 15+ is rolled, the 1d6 must be a 4,5,6 to pin the tail
When pinned the donkey in the target on its ass, it yells "Ow, fuck!"
otherwise, its a miss and you stumble into the donkey
Perception 16: Its 4 goblins in a costume.
You can Persuade or Lie(Deception) to make noises while pinning the tail on the "Donkey"
They say they stole this old mans Donkey to sell, but couldn't be too obvious. So they are doing this till the carnival is over.

Jarg, 5ft 8in Slender muscular build. Blonde feathery hair, mustache. You can tell by the look of his knuckles, hes newer to the fist fighting.
•Medium: Bug Bear. 60 HP / AC 14 1d8+3
Juh, A older, hagerdly bug bear, age has been taking a toll on him, but hes still tough as nails.
•Hard: Goliath. 100 HP / AC 13 / +7Hit 2d10+4
Meat, Strong as an Ox, Dumb as a pigeon. This badass is enormous, absolutely fucking shredded. Boasting what looks like almost 7ft tall. Meat loves to fight.
Rope Ladder:
A rustic looking short, slender tiefling named Mal is sitting in front calling for people to play.
1 Ticket per try
5 Prize Coins
12 feet of ladder. One Peg, per foot. 12 pegs total.
12 Acrobatics(Dex) checks
DC 8 +1 per success
3 saving throws or fail , DC 18
Ring Toss:
Two little gnomes, Dim & Wit run this stall.
1 Ticket for 20 throws
Roll 20d20's, at once or all together
Must make atleast 1 Nat 20
1: 3 Prize Coins
2: 5 Prize Coins
3: 10 Prize Coins & Arthur, the magic goldfish.
\*Arthur, The Magic Goldfish swings in his own personal sphere of water. 3 times per day, You can ask arthur for help on Checks, granting you one reroll. If used 4 times, Arthur dies.\*
Dunk Tank:
Dunk the Stinky, Foul Mouthed, Bug Bear or Dunk a friend.
Dex+Modifier. DC:15
\*Bug bear cant swim and starts screaming for helping, yelling " I KEEP TELLIN EM I CANT SWIM". Two armed guards come pull him out of the water. And set him back up on the podium. He begins to cry.
Perception check 18, his feet are shackled. Can free him possibly.
Dice Game 1:
Wager Gold/Prize Coins
Players roll 5d6.
All die are face value, Except 3's.
Lowest Score Wins the Pot
Dice Game 2:
Wager Gold/Prize Coins
Players Roll a d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, d4 all at once
When a die lands on a "1" The player must remove the higher value die. Until only one player has dice/die
High Striker:
A large minotaur, holding a note pad, sits next to a large boulder, with a giant iron hammer laying across it.
Try to bash the boulder as far as possible. You have three swings of a great hammer to hit the boulder. Ac 12, 1/2 damage on miss. 1d12 dmg+Str modifier
The boulder stores up energy, and after the 3rd strike. It goes as far, as much damage was delt. 1dmg=1ft.
\*You wont find out who won till the second day of the carnival.\*
Shoot The Apple off the Goblin:
What would normally look like a grumpy, long beared dwarf, is all smiles and offers for you all to shoot the apple off the goblins head.
1 Ticket
Goblin shackled to a stump with an apple on his head.
One Shot, Roll Hit die. AC 20.
Shoot the apple off, get 1 prize coins
Shoot the Gnome, also 1 prize coins
These goblins were stealing and having sex with his sheep. He caught them the day before the carnival and had them locked up in his cellar. He told the mayor about it, and told him this was the only way he could "Properply Dispose" of the goblins...
Extreme Pie Eating Contest:
A pie eating contest, the pies were made by a Wild Magic Sorcerer named Torik.
•Each turn, a player can eat one pie by Rolling Percentile Die and
then making DC 4 Con Save
•The Con Save goes up +2 per pie
Percentile Rolls for Magic Pie
•0-60: Normal Pie
•61-65: The pie doubles in size as your swallow it, Increase Con save +2 additional
•66-70: The pie is mixed with energy from a different plane. Disadvantage on this check.
•71-75: The pie bursts into flame as you stuff it into your mouth. No Con Save needed, but take 3d6 fire damage and make a DC10 Medicine check to cool off your mouth.
•76-80: The pie casts grease as you swallot it. You have advantaghe on this and also the next Con Save.
81-85: You turn into a goal for 1 minute. You may continue eating, but your stats are of a goats-(Con 11)
86-90: Your pie begins to yell in pain, say nasty, vulgar things to you. Very personal things. DC 10 Wisdom check to keep eating
91-95: The pie disappears as you swallow it. No Check needed or added +2 con
96-99: You swallow the pie, but as it hits your stomach, it explodes causing 3d8 piercing damage piercing now and at the beginning of your turn, or until healed by potions or spell.
100: You are releported to a random location within 5 miles and are automatically disqualified from the pie eating contest.
Winner of the pie eating contest wins \*Hungry Harolds Hotdog bag of Holding\*
\*Once per day, you can open the bag and ask Harold to Bless you some glizzys your way. Eating the hotdog gives you 2nd Level Bless for 1 hour. \*1d6\*
Arm Wrestling:
Surrounded by drunk meat heads, The game is simple.
No Killing, No biting, No punching.
Strength+modifier vs Strength+ modifier
3 checks
Starting position, half way pin, Pinned.
Must win 2 times from starting position.
Food & Drinks Area:
This area can be explored, mainly just people sitting eating and drinking.
Food gives you +10 Temp HP.
\*\*You can find Garfunz here. He was the goblin at the hammer game. If nobody spots him with a perception check. He will find the winner of the hammer game. He tells them about the Secret Brawlers ring, a hidden-ish through and behind the Mutton and Wine booth. There are two security guards. Tell them the password is 1,2,3,4,5.\*\*
(If szandors character, have him make an intelligence check. And when he goes to give the password, do a history check. As he is dumb)
