Waterworks & Temple Pier — Two Connected Waterfront Maps
Map creator
Latter_Tooth3420Description
This week’s release features two connected locations along the city’s waterline — the municipal Waterworks facility and the quiet Temple Pier. Each map brings its own atmosphere and purpose, giving you grounded, story‑ready spaces for encounters, investigations, and transitions along the waterfront.
**Waterworks**
A functional industrial complex built directly into the stone island between canals. Thick masonry walls enclose humming machinery, pressure pipes, and steam vents that keep the city’s water system running. Small bridges connect to the platform, and a set of interior offices sits just off the main work floor of the building, adding a sense of daily activity and oversight. Barrels, crates, and work carts line the surrounding platform, while a small wooden dock provides access for maintenance boats and supply deliveries.
**Temple Pier**
A quieter stretch of waterfront where a wide stone pier leads toward a small sanctum at the water’s edge. Lanterns, carved steps, and weathered planks create a calm, reflective atmosphere — but the water below churns with the restless presence of Umberlee, the vengeful goddess of the sea. It’s a place for dawn offerings, private meetings, or travelers arriving by boat, with subtle elevation changes that give the space a natural sense of intimacy.
**Map Sizes:**
• Waterworks — 35x20
• Temple Pier — 20x30
Additional variants — including foggy, night, stormy, and roofed versions — are available on my Patreon, along with gridded and ungridded high‑resolution and VTT‑ready files.

I hope you enjoy using these maps as much as I enjoyed making them!
