From concept to reality - Lothburgh

[**Lothburgh**](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lunchbreakheroes/lothburgh) is an adventure setting that I've been building since 2022. It started out as the setting of a short adventure, "In the Name of Science," which I published as part of an anthology of adventures. Since then, Lothburgh has grown and evolved, and has been the backdrop of a few other adventures.
Two years ago, I decided that Lothburgh would be the subject of my next book. I began to work with numerous writers and artists to flesh out the city, and I also began creating a full level 1-12 campaign called "Blood of Blades" to go with it. My players are having a blast with it, and are nearing its end.
Along the way, the obvious need for a city map came about. One of the first versions of the map is shown above, quickly sketched onto a pad of paper I had nearby. The city is divided into six boroughs, each with their own personality and problems. Much more recently, I gave that map to u/UFOsAndGames, who HAND ILLUSTRATED this massive city, and did an amazing job with it.
