Need help adding demon influence

Hey guys, I was working on my map here and focusing on the grassy regions. It’s supposed to a forested and hilly area, and I wanted to add a tie to one of the enemy types in the area, that being demons. Any ideas on how I can do that without making it super obvious? More subtle changes in the environment, not yawning chasms.
