I’ve played a couple lackluster campaigns recently and decided to take a swing at being a DM. I just finished a 4 session attempt at being a DM and my players want me to take another stab at it but with more details to the world and characters. So I put this together, along with about 700 pages of information on the world and its people and cultures, in order to make that campaign for them. I guess I wanted some outside opinions on how this map reads.
There are a bunch of number/letters denoting cities, towns, and main kingdoms and states.
Essentially there are the city States in the middle denoted as S1-12
Alliance states A1-5
Destroyed states D1-3
And the Empire as E1
The example for A1, the name of the kingdom is Zytherra
So it’s Z to start a location
I have 1 to denote a big city for the region or 2 for town
Followed by a .1…n to number them.
So the 4 largest town in zytherra is Z2.4
I did name capitals and landmarks though.
