How to make Tundra’s and other cold biomes without clashing with snow biome?

Hey guys! So I’ve moved from one map to another, and am now trying to complete my northern region. I made one portion I’m happy with, but I don’t want the rest of the map to just be ice and snow, so I’m trying to figure out how I can add a tundra without making the bright colors look too out of place on the map I already have. Any ideas?
