Description

Something I i have been thinking about for a while is a fantasy story where the world is mostly land not water/the oceans do not connect, a challenge would be figuring out how to transport the idea of this to a 3d word and how it would be a globe (so the land would all connect and if you wanted to you could just walk the other way) the solution I found is to just surround the map with large inhospitable mountains. Maybe there is more past those slopes, or maybe the world is flat (who knows) but I think a world like this would be interesting, right now the oceans are not saltwater but freshwater so the majority of the word lives on the coast or near another body of water. Making the edges of the map almost uninhabited. I’d also imagine the center of the map would be a complete power struggle because of the trade advantage (access to all the oceans)
